Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's digital learning initiative is a 30-episode series teaching Mi'kmaq, Acadian-French, and Gaelic languages and culture through puppetry, animation, music, and storytelling. Each episode of the show lasts for a duration of 18 to 28 minutes.
In Animalingo's Mi'kmaq series, Trevor Gould, an artist and powwow emcee from Paqtnkek Mi'kmaw Nation, leads his puppet friend Wowkwis on cultural adventures. Anika Lirette enlightens Lapin about Acadian-French culture, exploring customs, language, and flavors. Mary Jane Lamond and Caora, the charming sheep, embark on a captivating journey of Gaelic culture.

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's innovative performance-based emotional learning series Puppets in Paper takes you and “Pip", a paper bag puppet, through colourful worlds and emotional experiences. 10 episodes and 10 workshops. Up to 10 minutes long.
Half of the videos show the puppet Pip as they explore their emotions, and the other half invites children to play along with their very own Pip. Pip was created to be gender-neutral and all performances are non-verbal, supported by soft colouring for children on the spectrum. Suitable for ages 5+.

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's inventive digital micro theatre retells classic stories re-imagined and modernized for today.
Each episode of the show lasts for a duration of 10 to 20 minutes. 4 stories are available.
Mermaid Theatre presents children's stories through Story Box Theater, including Billy Goats Gruff, Rumpelstiltskin, and Chicken Little. The newest addition is "I am Perfectly Me" by Keonté Beals celebrating self-acceptance.

The Mermaid Workshop is an activity-driven series that shows children how to create their own puppets from simple found resources through step-by-step guided instruction. Each workshop concludes with a short demonstration of the created puppet in action. The series is entertaining, fun, and educational, teaching children how to create puppets they see in the Puppets in Paper series. Suitable for children 5+.
